MATV — Master Antenna Television

MATV is a television network system which allows multiple TV and FM receivers to receive signals from one single master antenna.

MATV provides higher quality signal reception to multiple televisions from one central antennae, allowing greater flexibility for viewing free-to-air, PayTV or closed circuit television to a large number of television sets.

To ensure there is no loss of signal quality, MATV systems need to be carefully designed and installed with specialised MATV equipment.
